Comme on l’avait déjà annoncé c’est Hong-Kong qui est à l’honneur de l’édition 2012 de Paris cinéma (29/06-10/07).
Du coup les organisateurs ont vu très grand puisque 90 films vont être projetés avec en plus quatre focus : Ann Hui, Patrick Tam, Allen Fong et Yuen Woo Ping, ainsi que des nuit HK avec une nuit Johnnie To (en sa présence), une nuit « Catégorie III » et une Nuit Infernal Affairs.
Au niveau des invités c’est aussi la grande classe puisque Johnnie To sera présent.
