Si un film se détache c’est bien la dernière production d’Ann Hui puisque « Simple Life » remporte 5 trophées et pas des moindres :

- Meilleur Acteur pour Andy Lau
- Meilleur Actrice pour Deannie Yip
- Meilleur scénario pour Susan Chan pour le film Simple Life
Du coup il ne reste pas grand chose aux autres :
Life Without Principle ne s’en sort pas trop mal avec l’awards du meilleur acteur dans un second rôle pour Lo Hoi Pang et celui de la meilleure actrice dans un second rôle pour So Hang Shuen.
